InquiryAgent
InquiryAgent is a classroom platform for AI-integrated scientific inquiry. Students
use AI as scientific instruments — k-means clustering, regression, computer vision
counting and tracking, generative modeling, and measurements taken with the sensors
in a phone — inside the science and engineering practices they already do. Every
instrument carries an explicit failure mode, so the question is never only what the
tool returned but whether it measured what the student meant.
Teachers start from a research question, a spreadsheet, a video, or a ready-made
activity, and the platform proposes investigations built on it. It is developed in
the GENIUS Center at the University of Georgia, supported by Institute of Education
Sciences grant R305C240010.
